Terms of Service
Agreement
By inviting, configuring, or using Goose in Discord, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you use Goose in a Discord server, you must also follow Discord's terms, Discord's community rules, and the rules set by that server.
Service
Goose is a Discord bot that provides moderation commands, configurable server utilities, AI chat responses, autoresponses, and direct-message commands. Some features are available only to server moderators, administrators, bot operators, or creator-whitelisted users.
Acceptable Use
You may not use Goose to:
- Break Discord's rules, violate laws, or evade platform restrictions.
- Harass, threaten, impersonate, spam, or abuse other people or communities.
- Use Goose to distribute malware, credential stealers, token stealers, or other harmful material.
- Interfere with Goose, Discord, or any third-party provider used by the bot.
Access may be limited, blocked, or removed when abuse is detected or when continued access creates risk for users, servers, infrastructure, or the bot operator.
Moderation
Server administrators and moderators are responsible for how they configure and use moderation features. Goose can perform actions such as timeouts, kicks, bans, tempbans, blacklist management, command disabling, moderation logging, and automatic ban-channel enforcement when those features are configured.
Goose may log moderation actions to configured server log channels. Those logs can include Discord user IDs, usernames, channel IDs, message links, command details, and moderator-provided reasons.
User Content
You are responsible for messages, attachments, prompts, command inputs, and other content you submit to Goose. You grant the bot operator permission to process that content as needed to operate the bot, provide replies, enforce these terms, debug issues, and comply with valid safety or legal requests.
Availability
Goose is provided as-is. The bot may be changed, rate-limited, interrupted, disabled, or discontinued at any time. AI responses and web or executor-status lookups may be incomplete, delayed, unavailable, or incorrect, and should not be treated as professional advice.
Changes
These terms may be updated when Goose changes or when operational, legal, or safety needs require it. Continued use of Goose after an update means you accept the updated terms.
Contact
For terms, safety, abuse, or removal requests, contact the Goose bot owner, afkar, through Discord.
